The
Diamond Exchange “tapped a keg” to
kick off the final week of holiday
shopping. Our male customers received
a special invitation to enjoy a
stress-free evening of pizza and beer
while casually shopping for their
significant others. In addition, our
men had the opportunity to win either
a Three-Stone Diamond Necklace donated
by The Diamond Exchange or a Porsche
Caymen for the weekend, generously
donated by Jack Daniels Porsche. The
raffle proceeds benefited the Somerset
Hills Handicapped Riding Center. |

interior decorator and author, Donna
Lang demonstrated unique ways to wrap
holiday gifts to make them look even
more enticing to open. Donna is the
author of many books, including A GIFT
FOR GIVING: Making the Most of the
Present. The event also featured
selections of beautiful Partylite
candles and fabulous lia Sophia
jewelry. A portion of the evening’s
proceeds benefited The Kimberly Edson
Fund (for a thirteen year-old Paramus
girl afflicted with Diamond Blackfan
Anemia). |

Colleen Giblin Foundation hosted its
2007 Millennium Women’s Luncheon
that honored Ann Iacona, Beth A.
Barone, and Jeanette Hanson. Ann’s
friends and family proudly gathered at
Seasons Restaurant to help her
celebrate receiving this special
award. “Angels Among Us” proved to
be the perfect theme for the day’s
festivities. All three award
recipients’ stories were amazing and
their respective speeches extremely
moving. Ann’s heartfelt speech left
us teary-eyed and gave further proof
of her selfless nature and giving
spirit. All Tricky Tray and Silent
Auction proceeds and donations
benefited The Colleen Giblin
Foundation for Children’s
Neurological and Cancer Research. |

pre-holiday event featured celebrity
stylist, Carlton Spence who described
how best to accessorize our festive,
holiday outfits. Professional makeup
artist, Angela Cavalari treated
clients to mini makeovers and
demonstrated helpful make-up tips.
House of Baguettes presented a diamond
trunk show that displayed many unique
pieces. Throughout the evening, guests
sipped on special Dewar’s 12
cocktails and enjoyed delicious Hors d’oeuvres.

NEW JERSEY NETS TO BENEFIT THE

The
Diamond Exchange along with sponsors
Dewar’s 12 and Elini Watches “teamed
up” with the Nets organization to
host a silent auction and raffle.
Guests enjoyed an amazing barbeque by
Caputo’s, Dewar’s Side-Car
cocktails and the chance to meet Nets
players Jason Collins, Bostijian
Nachbar, and Albert King. Proceeds
from the silent auction and raffle
were donated to The Chip Ryen Fund
(Chip Ryen was an Oradell firefighter
married to a Paramus police officer
and they had two children, he was
suffering from brain cancer before he
succumbed to the disease on October
22, 2007). Nets color analyst, Tim
Capstraw emceed and helped Ann and
Tony Iacona present the players with
Elini Watches and custom-designed “BELIEVE”
team bracelets. Let’s go Nets! |

Diamond Exchange owners, Ann and
Anthony Iacona were honorary event
committee members for REED Academy’s
fifth annual NYC fundraiser. Guests
enjoyed an open bar as well as an
amazing buffet dinner and desserts.
Fox 5 reporter Linda Schmidt emceed
the event and Marc Coppola, DJ from FM
104.3 did a fabulous job as the
auctioneer. Henry Haid, star of
Broadway’s Movin’ Out provided the
evening’s entertainment. All
proceeds benefit the school that
serves children with autism. For more

FM 104.3, at REED Academy’s 4th
annual fall fundraising event. Ken
graciously donated his services and
did a spectacular job as auctioneer
for the live auction. The evening
included a delicious dinner along with
a lively after-party. All proceeds
from the event benefited REED Academy,
a private non-profit school for
